Ice Ice Baby

For some weird reason this summer, Cedric has been enjoying playing with icecubes. I guess it helps him keep cool. For example :

And there goes another icecube down his shirt.....

The Latest

Another summer has come and gone! School starts almost in no time.... already. Mom is trying to fit in fun activities around our crazy schedule.

A week ago or so, while cousin Chad was in town, there was a 5K race! Mom, Aunt Denise, Ammon, Jamison, Dad, and of course Chad all ran in that race. All of them got awesome places in the race. The "Fun Run" was ran by, Audrey, Nathan, Kyle, Spencer, and Suzi! The over all winner of the 5K, was some guy a year older than Dad. Apparently...... in Florence Middle School track, Dad was so close to setting the record for the Mile run. But this guy had a better time. So, as Mom kept saying "Even 20 years from then, he is still winning!" Oh well!

Today while Spencer was at Speech in Pueblo, Mom took the other boys to the Zoo. Kyle said it was fun playing at the park also. When they were at the Zoo, I was busy at Band Camp. Lots of fun in the sun!

This year: Kyle will be a 1st grader, Spencer a 3rd, Jay in middle school (6th), he will be doing part-time (like me ) and also be home-schooled, and I will be a FRESHMAN! I am a part of the CCHS "Tiger Pride" Marching Band, and Jamison is with the CCMS Band (Falcons).

Girls Camp!

These were some of the first pictures taken before Girls Camp started. This gift shop was one of the pit stops on the way to camp.

The first hike was all up hill. Everybody was excited to get back to camp and take a nap.

On the way back, we met up with the Stake YW's President and Counselor.

The majority of my free-time, was french braiding the other girls' hair. Evy's was awesome, because she had purple highlights in her hair.

Pout :P

Another hike, but this time, to the "Natural Water slides".

Kendra showing the camera her Ninja skills.

Melissa concurred the slide.

Taking a nap...

One of our awesome leaders playing "Chubby Bunny" with cheese balls.
All of the girls dressed up in their costumes from the skits.

On the last day of camp we took down camp, and hung out and enjoyed each others company.

Girls Camp was awesome! I had so much fun hanging out with friends, being goofy, eating junk, and feeling the Spirit all at once. I can't wait to go next year.

Mexico Adventure

For their anniversary, Ashley and David went to Cancun, Mexico. I am SO sorry that I have not posted this sooner... Here are some pictures from their trip.

Mom and Dad joke about bringing home a Mexican villager.

Here is one of many caves in Mexico. In this one, people get to swim in the flowing river that connects to the ocean.

The waiters would go around the tables and dance with the bottles / cups on their heads.

It's a Zoo Out There

Spring Break has finally come! After waiting for what seemed like forever, it came! On Monday, Mom decided to take us to the Pueblo Zoo. I was allowed to take my two friends Alihah and Amaihah, and then my Aunt Karen with her two boys, and Aunt Denise with her five kids, and Aunt Mary with her four kids all came with us. It was quite the crew! Even though it was chilly, it was a lot of fun.

I don't know how, but for some reason the order of the pictures are backwards of what actually happened at the Zoo.
Oh well...

Revenge is sweet!

Amaihah fell asleep in the car.

This tree is the awesomest tree ever! It was a vibrant yellow, my fav color!

The snake in this exhibit, was having its meal when we got there. So everyone tried to huddle around the small glass wall to watch the snake slowly eat 2 of the mice. It was pretty gruesome.

In a building, there was a ship with different creatures inside little compartments, like tarantulas, bugs and the such. There was also a skeleton.

Here is just a tiny portion of the kids who were there.

At the beginning of the Zoo, we were handed crackers that were meant for ONLY animals. Cedric got so desperate, he cried and cried for one, so he got it! Everybody was pretty hungry towards the end of the trip.

An ostrich came right up to the fence, and started to peck at it. Alihah was freaking out, but just a little bit.

This snake was pretty cool, because it was totally made out of pennies!! ( Except the head. )
